Annual Snow Survey

Each year the Blaine Soil Conservation District along with NRCS preforms three once a month snow surveys. The information is gathered from 5 manual SnoTel sites in the Little Wood an Fish Creek drainages. Once gathered the data is compiled into a yearly water outlook supply chart. This year Blaine Soil Conservation District is working along with NRCS to fund a new SnoTel that will eventually take the place of all 5 manual sites saving both time and money.
